When choosing a print for your bedroom, think about the vibe you want to bring to the space. If you want a serene sanctuary, go for a calming landscape or a minimalist print in soft colours; if you want a fun, mood-lifting space, go for a bold print that expresses your personal style.

Keep the colour scheme of your bedroom in mind when choosing your art - go for something that reflects your bedroom’s colour palette; or, if you’re feeling bold, make a statement by choosing a piece that clashes with the rest of your room.

If your art is going above your bed, keep in mind that your print should be two-thirds to three-quarters the length of your headboard - you don’t want it to swallow up the room. When hanging your art, position it about 20-25 centimetres above your headboard. We’re also fans of an eclectic gallery wall - a cool mix of prints and frames can look banging on the wall above your bed. We think a few art prints or posters can really elevate your room, but don’t overdo it - hanging art for the sake of it is never a good look. Choose carefully, think outside the box, and go for something that feels good for you.
