Helena's work is based on female energy and the nature of the feminine being. She likes to describe feelings or moods through colour, pattern, and symbolism to create figurative artworks. Solitude is one of the most prominent themes in her work; exploring solitary experiences from a woman's perspective. She is inspired by nature and the places she grew up - Hong Kong, Cape Town, and England along with her favorite artists.
