What inspired you to become an artist, and when did you first realise that you wanted to pursue this career path? I worked on creative projects and loved playing with colors as long as I can think off . I never dared to call myself an artist and chose to study design. I never tried to become an artist, rather the "title" found me after I created the first pieces... What are some of your favourite materials and mediums to work with, and why do you prefer them? Inspired from patterns, structures and water in all forms, capturing mother nature in detailed macro shots or from high above the ground. Always with the aim to show us, that we have a fascinating planet worth preserving in all its beauty. How would you describe your artistic style, and how has it evolved over time? I would say my photography is driven by the never ending admiration of mother natures beauty combined with a modern edge and the love of Scandinavian simplicity. For the artworks itself, they also aim for this simplicity mixed with soft & bold colors and shapes. What themes or ideas do you explore in your artwork, and why are they important to you? Her inspiration comes from long travels trough Europe, South America and Asia & the never ending admiration of mother natures beauty. I Always try to show that we have a fascinating planet, worth preserving in all its beauty! Can you walk us through your creative process, from the initial concept to the finished piece? Sometimes my work is carefully planned, already waiting for the perfect season & light to occur. But often its created when I am in flow and it simply "feels right" What challenges have you faced in your artistic career, and how have you overcome them? one of the biggest struggles and blessings is being self employed and the financial freedom and pressure this brings. Who are some artists or other creative figures that have influenced your work, and how have they inspired you? - How do you stay motivated and inspired when you hit a creative block or rough patch? never forcing it. I learned that I can't force to be creative... What advice would you give to aspiring artists who are just starting out on their artistic journeys? keep doing what you love What are your goals for your art in the future, and where do you see your career going in the next few years? - What's your favourite piece that you sell on Fy! and why? "Liquid Love Art Print" This piece was carefully planned and actually shot several times over a period of 4 years from having the picture in my head until I loved the result. I simply love love love the feeling of diving through glittering sunbeams in the water and it took a lot of work to finally capture that. Which other artists on the Fy! platform do you love? - Can you share with us a favourite piece of art from another artist and tell us why you love it? (please ensure the artwork is available on Fy!)  - How do you see your art contributing to the wider cultural conversation, and what message or themes do you hope to convey through your work? - What advice do you have for aspiring artists who are just starting out in their careers? - 16. Our shoppers love to buy multiple pieces to create Gallery walls, can you suggest any other art prints on Fy! which you feel compliment yours? - 17. Tell us about the artwork you hang in your own home and how this fits into your interior style? I enjoy swopping things around often. But it usually shows scenes of nature, as its both energizing,  giving energy and yet calming in an urban home in the middle of Berlin city. 18. Where is your artwork best suited in a home? Do you love making prints for big bright hallway spaces or cosy bedroom corners? BOTH, definitely both. I created a wide range of work with the different corners in mind...
