What inspired you to become an artist, and when did you first realise that you wanted to pursue this career path? From a young age, I was always drawn to creating art. Whether it was drawing, painting, or making crafts, I loved the process of bringing something new to life.  I am heavily inspired by the adventure i take and experience i have. As I grew older, I started to realize that my passion for art could be more than just a hobby. I found myself spending hours on end perfecting my technique and experimenting with different mediums. During lockdown is tarted sharing my tiny adventure inspired, hand drawn illustrations to the world and people loved it. Since then, I've been fortunate enough to have some amazing adventures in the art world so far working with some amazing people and brands. Every day feels like a new adventure. I feel grateful to be able to do something I love every day and share my passion with others. What are some of your favourite materials and mediums to work with, and why do you prefer them? I Only work with 3 materials. A fine liner , paper and a pencil. I love to work in a very traditional way and keep the hand drawn craft going. How would you describe your artistic style, and how has it evolved over time? I would describe my style as hand-drawn traditional fine line adventure designs inspired by the outdoors. I've always been drawn to nature and the beauty of the outdoors, and I love to incorporate those elements into my artwork.  Over time, my style has definitely evolved as I've gained more experience and experimented with different techniques. I've learned to be more intentional with my linework, incorporating more intricate details and patterns to create a more dynamic visual effect.  One of the biggest changes in my style has been my use of colour.  I focus primarily on black and white designs, I've started incorporating more geometric shapes into my work, which has allowed me to create a more dynamic designs.  Overall, I'm excited to continue exploring new techniques and styles as I grow as an artist, but I always want to stay true to my roots and keep creating designs that are inspired by my love of the outdoors. What themes or ideas do you explore in your artwork, and why are they important to you? I love the outdoors. I spend alot of time in nature as this is where i am happiest. For this reason my art is heavily isnpired by the experiences i have and adventures i take, weather that be camping , surfing , hiking or just relaxing in nature with a hammock. Can you walk us through your creative process, from the initial concept to the finished piece? Like i said i find alot inspiration through my experiences, other sources come from other artists or adventure photographers. Once i have the idea i create some sketches and then finish them in fineline pen. Most of my designs are very small and simple, Minimal if you will. I like it this way, it allows me to focus more on the creative side than getting caught up in detail and scale. What challenges have you faced in your artistic career, and how have you overcome them? One of the biggest challenges for me has been finding a balance between pursuing my passion for art and making a sustainable living. It can be tough to make a name for yourself in the art world, and there's always a risk that your work won't be well received.  To overcome this challenge, I've had to be persistent and committed to my craft. Consistency is key. I've learned to be adaptable and to embrace new technologies and platforms for sharing my work, such as social media and online marketplaces.  Another challenge has been dealing with creative blocks and burnout. As an artist, it's easy to get stuck in a rut or to feel overwhelmed by the demands of the industry. To combat this, I've learned to take breaks when I need them and to seek out sources of inspiration and support from my fellow artists.  Overall, I've found that perseverance, adaptability, and a willingness to seek out help and support have been essential to overcoming the challenges I've faced in my artistic career. Who are some artists or other creative figures that have influenced your work, and how have they inspired you? One of my biggest inspirations is my friend Will Finch, a fellow fine line artist. He was the one who told me to start this journey around 3 years ago. giving me much needed advice and motivation, I ow him alot How do you stay motivated and inspired when you hit a creative block or rough patch?
