Bo Lundberg is a graphic designer based in Sweden, his work's inspired by everyday objects and travel destinations and he’s recently launched an exclusive collection of Bauhaus posters with Fy!

What made you get into art in the first place?

I started drawing as a little kid and I guess I never stopped. As I grew up I didn’t quite see art as a possible career choice, but was persuaded by a family member to at least apply for an art school and then I was hooked.

How would you describe your style?

Graphic, reduced, bold colours. Bold at times, understated at times.

What techniques do you use in your work?

Adobe Illustrator and at odd occasions, ink or paper.

What's your favourite piece for sale on Fy! and why?

I tend to be the most happy with the images that surprises me. It might be that I have a clear idea of what I want to do, but then it turns out differently. If I should pick one, it would be my Stockholm 67 image, since it was my first print in the ever growing Around the World collection, although I didn’t know that at the time.

Can you recommend or suggest any other artists on the platform that you love?

I would recommend photographer Michael Belhadi and the design team Fox & Velvet.

Where do you get inspiration for your new pieces?

As a creative, the switch is always on so I register and take mental notes all the time. It might for instance be that you see two people in the street, each wearing different colours that work out really well together. That might become a base for a new colour palette.
