What inspired you to become an artist, and when did you first realise that you wanted to pursue this career path?

After working as a graphic designer in some advertising agencies, my love for cult cinema, TV series and celebrities made me change my professional goals and thus focus all my inspiration on those references that I had in my mind for a long time.

What are some of your favourite materials and mediums to work with, and why do you prefer them?

Generally, most of my work is digital in style using a graphics tablet, although sometimes I feel like drawing by hand if I think the final design will have a more suitable result.

How would you describe your artistic style, and how has it evolved over time?

I always have been passionate about all retro style references and I combine it with a minimalist graphic style and I also sometimes go for a more urban and pop art style.

What themes or ideas do you explore in your artwork, and why are they important to you?

Since I was a child I have always been a passionate follower of cinema and cult characters and I have always been proud to share my personal references through my art.

Can you walk us through your creative process, from the initial concept to the finished piece?

First of all social media is my main source of stylistic inspiration based on many featured artists. When choosing the topic it is always related to my cinematic tastes or legendary icons, always doing it with the sense of a tribute from my point of view to all of them.

How do you stay motivated and inspired when you hit a creative block or rough patch?

With a good cult film, even if I have seen it many times before, in the end I always find some artistic detail, some dialogue or even a new film location that definitely sparks my inspiration.

What advice would you give to aspiring artists who are just starting out on their artistic journeys?

Let them always follow their obsessions and the topics that are always on their mind. Never create something in a forced way if they want to at least make their own way.

What are your goals for your art in the future, and where do you see your career going in the next few years?

I am constantly thinking about renewing my artworks and I am never opposed to looking for new stylistic challenges. I adapt myself better and better to a less graphic style and bring more artistic ideas, betting more and more on photographic compositions and using new textures.

Which other artists on the Fy! platform do you love?

Bruno Morphet, Elad Shagrir, Rafa Gomes, Vincent Trinidad

Where is your artwork best suited in a home?

Normally my artworks fit better in corners or personal spaces such as bedrooms or offices since they are very personal themes and some works are inspired by characters that are dreamy for their followers.
