Fy’s Favourite Kitchen Wall Art

For many, the kitchen is the most social room in their whole house. It’s where most memorable evenings starts, bringing family and friends together. If that’s not a reason to call the kitchen the heart of the house, we don’t know what is. But because of its utility, some people think that kitchens aren’t the place to have art hung. We’re here, to show you that there is a huge range of prints that are perfect for your kitchen (or your friend’s and family’s kitchen if you’re looking for a great gift).

With plenty of bare surfaces, often neutral tones in cabinetry and accompanying tiles or painted walls, the kitchen is the perfect canvas for some artistic flair. Provided you’re hanging something that is framed and covered ( no one wants to splash bolognese on their favourite prints) you can add colour and vibrance to the room used as a place to make meals and connect with loved ones.

These are some of our favourite pieces of kitchen wall art, but there is a huge range to explore here because everyone’s tastes are different and variety is the spice of life.

1. Lemon Art Print by Kate Fox

When life gives you lemons, find a talented artist to create a print, hang it on your wall, and add a beautiful splash of natural colour to your kitchen. Simple.

2. Condiments Art Print by Lola Star

There’s something rather meta about a piece of art that reflects the inside of your fridge, cupboards, or pantry. Even better when it’s as bright and full of brand love as this piece.

3. Cafe Terrace At Night, Van Gogh Art Print

Looking for something a little more classic? You can’t go wrong with a Van Gogh and it makes a handy talking point if you ever need an icebreaker at a dinner party.

4. The Great Kanagawa Tea Art Print by Vincent Trinidad Art

You might recognise a part of this print from The Great Wave off Kanagawa. We think it pairs brilliantly with a tea-based twist.

5. Ice Cream With Cactuses Art Print by Valeriya Korenkova

Continuing with the abstract, we can’t get enough of this wonderfully crafted cactus-dairy combo.

6. You Cook I Will Drink Wine Art Print by Girl Visual

What better way to set the tone of your kitchen than to have a print that tells any visitor exactly what you’re about?

7. Lucky Cat Ramen Square Art Print by Hattie Windley Illustration

Another nod to Japanese stylings, this happy-go-lucky kitty is the perfect way to brighten up a spare spot on your kitchen wall.

8. Caipirinha Art Print by Sofe

This just feels very sophisticated, so if you’re looking for a dash of class to complete your kitchen’s look, you’d be hard-pressed to do better than this.

9. Joseph Perrier Champagne Art Print by Vintage Print and Poster Collection

Speaking of class, why not incorporate a classic piece of champagne advertising into your decor with this vintage print.

10. The Food Alphabet – N Art Print by BLAEK Design Studio

This is our favourite out of a twenty-six piece collection of the food alphabet – mmmm noodles.

Hopefully, this list has at the very least given you some inspiration for making your kitchen look amazing. What are you going to put on your kitchen walls first? There’s so much to choose from.

With so many different ways to add art to your kitchen, just finding out what is possible is the best first step. There’s also no excuse not to try because there are loads of brilliant prints at great prices available to anyone, so you can afford to experiment or reinvent your kitchen if it’s started to feel stale – especially if it forms part of a bigger makeover.
