When we’re showing off our homes, the bathroom is probably not the first stop on the tour. Yet it’s one room almost every guest is sure to see. So why let it be a ho-hum space? After all, a cool bathroom is a pretty darn good sign you’re a decorator that lets their imagination run wild no matter the space.
Think about your bathroom: chances are it has just the necessities and maybe not even all of those. We get it, it’s the place you focus on making you look good, and just picking out a conditioner is exhausting enough. But we’ve got a couple of design mavens to make it easy for you.
First let’s get you up to speed with shelving and accessories. Having all those great beauty products in your home is totally pointless if you can never find them. Instead of crowding them all into a medicine cabinet, you can artfully and efficiently arrange them with elegant hanging shelves. These give you so much flexibility in arranging them so they’re just perfect for fitting into the tricky niches you often find in cramped bathrooms. Think about adding another mirror, say one close to the shower: not only is it functional but they reflect light just beautifully during a candlelit bath, so be sure to pick up a few of those too!
